The rope is knotted into a cradle that holds the pot level, and the loop at the top drops over a ceiling hook or a bracket in seconds. The pot itself has a drainage hole and a removable plug, so you can water it in place indoors or let it drain freely under a covered balcony. The whole thing lifts down again just as quickly when a plant needs a proper soak in the sink.
