Chopping herbs finely takes a sharp knife and a few minutes you often do not have. Roll the Vellum mincer across a bunch of parsley and it is done in one pass, with none of the bruising that turns basil black on a board.
Five stainless blades sit inside a housing that keeps your fingers well away from the edges, and the whole head pops off for washing. It is small enough to live in a drawer rather than take a cupboard shelf, and light enough to work one-handed while the other hand steadies the bowl. Good for herbs, spring onions, garlic, and chocolate that needs shaving rather than chunking.
