Please read: US addresses only. This blanket has a US plug and runs on US 110–120 V mains. Don't use it in the UK, Europe or Australia, even with a plug adapter or travel converter. On 230 V mains a 120 V heating element overheats.

Worth knowing before you buy

• It plugs in. It isn't cordless. The controller detaches so you can wash the blanket, but it has to stay plugged into a wall socket to heat. Sit within reach of an outlet.
• The controller is the weak point on any heated blanket. The most common complaint across this category is that it stops heating, or the controller lights flash, weeks or months in. If that happens, unplug it and email us.
• The heat sits in the body panel. We haven't confirmed that the sleeves and foot pocket contain heating wire, so expect them to feel less warm than the body of the blanket.
• The sleeves are roomy. They're cut loose so the blanket fits most people, which means they can feel oversized on smaller frames.
• No safety certification claimed. We don't claim UL or ETL certification for this model. The overheat and overload protection listed below is the manufacturer's own description.

Use it safely

• Not for babies or young children, or for anyone who can't feel heat or can't work the controller themselves. That includes people with reduced sensation, for example from diabetes.
• Don't fold, bunch or tuck it while it's switched on, and never use pins.
• Keep the controller and cord on top, not under you, under cushions or under the blanket.
• Use the timer, and switch it off before you go to sleep.
• Stop using it if the cord is frayed, the fabric is scorched, or anything smells hot.

Questions people ask

Is it cordless?
No. It plugs into the wall to heat. The controller only detaches so you can wash the blanket.

How warm does it get?
The six settings run from 82°F to 115°F. It warms up within a few minutes, and most people settle on one of the lower settings.

Can I use it outside the US?
No. It's a 110–120 V US appliance. A plug adapter only changes the pins, not the voltage, and on 230 V mains it would overheat. We only ship this item to US addresses.
