A six-inch polished chrome shower head with a replaceable multi-stage filter cartridge in the body. It screws onto a standard shower arm in place of what you have now, no plumber and no tools.
The spray plate is designed to hold pressure with the filter in line, which is the part cheap filtered heads usually get wrong.

Worth knowing before you buy
- Use PTFE tape on the thread and do not overtighten. A third of the negative reviews are leaks at the joint, and almost all shower-head leaks are the thread rather than the head. Two or three wraps of plumber's tape and hand-tight plus a nudge is the right amount.
- The cartridge is a consumable. Filter media exhausts. Plan on replacing it periodically rather than treating it as permanent.
- What we will and will not tell you about the filtration. The maker states 20 stages and says it reduces chlorine and heavy metals. We have no test data for that, we have not had it independently verified, and we are not going to present it as fact or attach any skin, hair or health benefit to it. The manufacturer's stated figures are in the table below, labelled as theirs.
