A small lamp with nothing attached to it, which means it can go on a desk, a windowsill or the floor of a den built under the table. Poppa charges over USB-C and then runs on its own, so there is no lead to trip over and no need to be near a socket.
A touch on the top steps through three brightness levels, which is enough control for a child to manage without help. The base is weighted, so a knock tips it rather than sending it across the room, and the shade is a soft-touch moulded plastic with no exposed bulb. When it runs low, plug it in overnight and put it back wherever it was.
