A raised bolster runs around three sides of the Odenn, giving a dog something to rest a chin on and a wall to lean into. The front is left open, so they walk straight in rather than climbing over an edge.
The base cushion is filled thickly enough that it does not flatten down to the floor under a heavy dog, and the whole cover unzips and goes in the machine, which is the part that matters most after a muddy walk. The underside is a grippy woven fabric, so the bed stays where you put it on wood and tile instead of sliding across the room every time your dog turns around.
