A stainless steel lid gripper for the jar that won't budge. Slide it to the size of the lid, lock it, and turn. The long handle gives you far more leverage than your hand alone.
Works on pickle jars, mason jars and screw-top bottles. It folds flat into a drawer or hangs on a hook.
What you get
- One adjustable jar and bottle opener, about 23 cm long, 123 g
Worth knowing before you buy
- It does the gripping. You still do the turning. It multiplies the force of your hand through the handle; it isn't automatic.
- Set it to each lid. Adjust the jaw until the teeth bite the lid edge, lock it, then twist. A loose setting slips.
- The teeth can mark painted or decorative lids. Fine for everyday jars, less so for a lid you want to keep pristine.
- We couldn't get a detailed review breakdown for this listing, so this page is built from the maker's specification and photos.
