It runs about 16cm wide, so it reads from across a room without dominating a nightstand.

Worth knowing before you buy
- Setting it up is the weak point. The most common complaint, about a quarter of the negatives, is that it is fiddly to set. It uses a small number of buttons cycling through modes rather than a menu. Keep the leaflet until you have the time and date in.
- Batteries are not included and it needs mains power for the display. The battery is for keeping the time when unplugged, not for running it.
- Check it works in the first few days. Around a fifth of the critical reviews are units that did not work at all. That is higher than we would like on a simple product. Email support@kivorahome.com if yours is dead on arrival.
- It is 16cm wide. Several buyers expected something larger. Check the dimensions against the space you have in mind.
