One board, two surfaces. A stainless steel face for raw meat and fish, which rinses clean rather than holding a smell, and a wheat straw composite face for fruit, vegetables and bread.
There is a knife sharpener built into the edge, and a raised groove around the rim that catches juice instead of letting it run onto the worktop.

- Steel is not kind to knife edges. The steel face is excellent for raw meat and for hygiene. It is harder than a wooden or plastic board, so heavy chopping on that side will dull a knife faster. Use the composite side for everyday prep and save the steel for meat.
- It is a large board. At 15 x 10.2 inches it will not disappear into a small drawer. Check you have somewhere to stand it.
