Four spring-loaded hinges that pull a door shut behind you. Swap them in on a screen door, a pantry door or a gate that's always left open, and it closes itself.
Scalloped butterfly leaves sit on the surface of the door and frame, so you don't need to chisel a recess. Screws are included.
What you get
- Four self-closing spring hinges, about 6.2 × 7 cm each
- Mounting screws
Worth knowing before you buy
- Made for light doors. Screen doors, cupboard and pantry doors, light interior doors and garden gates. The original listing also mentions heavy exterior and commercial doors; we wouldn't use them there.
- Adjust the tension after fitting. Too tight and the door slams; too loose and it won't latch. Set it with the pin at the base of each hinge.
- Measure your old hinges first. These are about 6.2 cm wide and 7 cm tall, with screw holes on a 3 cm and 4 cm pitch. If your existing holes don't line up, you'll drill new ones.
- This is a new listing. It has fewer than 30 customer reviews so far, so this page is built from the maker's specification and photos.
