Worth knowing before you buy

• Measure your drain hole first. Do not skip this. It fits openings from 1.1 to 2.36 inches. The most common complaint by some way is that it did not fit, and the listing is sold with a claim about fitting almost every sink that its own reviewers do not bear out. Two minutes with a tape measure will tell you whether this is the right part.
• It will drain more slowly than an open drain. That is the trade. Roughly a quarter of the negative reviews are about flow rate. A basket fine enough to catch hair is by definition a restriction. If you want maximum flow, you do not want a hair catcher.
