A floor lamp usually means one brightness and a switch somewhere near the skirting board. The Casla is a slim standing lamp you can dim and re-colour from your phone, so the corner of the living room is a reading light one minute and a low wash of warm colour the next.
The upper section throws light at the ceiling for a soft general glow, and the lower column carries a colour band you set separately. That means you can read by proper white light while the rest of the room keeps a warmer edge. A weighted base holds it steady on rugs and wood, and the cable runs down inside the column so nothing trails across the floor. Schedules run over your home Wi-Fi, and a touch control on the pole handles on, off and brightness without reaching for the app.
