Everyone has a favourite mug, usually for reasons that have little to do with how it looks. The Bruel mugs get those details right: a handle wide enough for two fingers, a rim thin enough to drink from comfortably, and a heavy base that keeps coffee warm past the first ten minutes.
Each one holds about 350 ml, which is a full pour rather than the polite half-cup a smaller mug gives you. The speckled stoneware glaze shifts slightly between pieces, so a pair reads as handmade rather than as two identical prints. They stack in a cupboard, take the dishwasher and the microwave, and the unglazed foot will not scratch a wooden shelf.
