A harness spreads the lead across the chest instead of concentrating everything at the collar. Braxen is padded along every panel that meets the body, with a soft lining behind the webbing where a plain strap would otherwise rub on a long walk.
Four adjustment points let you set the neck and the girth separately, so it fits deep-chested and narrow dogs without one strap doing all the work. It steps on and buckles at the side, which is easier than pulling something over the head of a dog that would rather already be out of the door. There is a D-ring on the back, a reflective strip along each side and a handle at the shoulders.
